Carnivorous Plants
These type of plants are unique plants because they capture and kill prey to get its nutrients. These plants have different types of ways to lure and trap its victims. There are many [[#|carnivorous plant]] species around the world. Some of these are:
Dionea muscipula(Venus Flytrap)

The insect lands on the leaves which triggers the leaves to close on the insect.

Utricularia(Bladderworts)

This plants trap insects by using its sacs which acts as "trap doors".

Nepenthes(Tropical Pitchers)

The inside of the pitcher is slippery which makes it hard for insects to get out once they fall in.

The prey becomes trapped by the dew like substance produced from the tentacles.

Sarracenia(North American pitchers)
